Style3D, a middleware for developing 3D user interfaces for Android, has been jointly developed by HI and INNOPHILIA Co., Ltd. Style3D enables the adoption of a variety of 3D effects easily by solving various limitations on 3D user interface development such as slow rendering speed and complexity in development. - Capable of adopting a variety of 3D effects easily
Since Style3D has a great affinity for Android’s standard framework, it is possible to add 3D graphics into the application without changing the application structure of Android. This enables beautiful, lively 3D effects by making the best use of 3D space, allowing enriched user interfaces.
- High-speed rendering
Since Style3D controls OpenGL ES directly from the native layer, it is possible to increase graphics rendering speed by 2 to 3 times (verified by HI). This allows end users to operate user interfaces with 3D effects extremely smoothly.
- No expertise required
Since Style3D controls OpenGL ES, no expertise for developing 3D graphics is required. This reduces the burden on developers as well as cutting development costs.
