Potential customers can search for storage units at any Uncle Bob’s location, and compare them for price and features such as climate controlled storage or vehicle storage. Customers can also find mobile coupons which they can redeem at our stores just by showing their phone. Further, if the customer wishes to make a reservation, they may do so electronically or they can connect directly to a Customer Care Representative with a touch of the screen. “This is a primary advantage of the app – it ties together the information that our customers are searching for with the convenience of a phone call, all accomplished via a mobile device,” Myszka added.

The Uncle Bob’s Android App also allows existing customers to manage their storage account via their mobile phone. This includes making payments, setting payment reminders, updating credit card information, and changing contact and mailing information.
Additional features of the app include the ability to find and navigate to the closest Uncle Bob’s location using the phone’s built-in GPS system and the ability to keep track of the items they have in storage via the “My Space” icon.
